The Case...
This guitar comes in a newer G+L Hardcase. It fits the guitar well but has some storage and use wear
The Guitar!
Here is a unique one! Someone took a 1981 Gibson Flying V and gave it a serious makeover "Dean - Style" with abalone inlays in the neck, abalone purfling along with body binding - new quilted maple top on the headstock and body - this thing is quite stunning!
Unfortunately, I don't know who did the work or its history before. Many viewers think this looks like the work of Ed Roman, but I'm not sure. I believe it is a poly-finish. The original 1981 serial number and filled in tuner holes are still present and it has the correct heel construction for a flying V of this era. The closest actual Gibson offering this resembles is a "The V" but those have maple bodies and necks while this is still mahogany!
My favorite thing about this guitar is the cool custom-made + finished wooden truss rod cover with Gibson Mother of pearl inlaid logo! Stylin...
