1963 Fender Precision Bass in good condition with a Sunburst finish over an Alder body. It has a wide C profile Maple neck with a beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard, a 7.25" radius and clay dots. It weighs 8lbs 8oz / 3.86kg Serial: L20901.  Except for a new nut, it's all original including the white case and has undisturbed solder throughout.

This is a fantastic playing and sounding instrument, it has a straight neck and original frets which are in excellent condition. There are a number of scuffs, dings and signs of playwear as is evident in the pictures. The back of the neck is relatively clean as is the headstock.

This bass has been fully set up with a set of D'Addario Chrome flat-wound strings. The neck date is Sep 63. The volume pot date is obscured by solder but as the solder is undisturbed it's clearly original. The tone pot dates to the 50th week of 63. The body date is 12/63. The pickups have Black bobbins, original winds and undisturbed solder. All-around fantastic bass. Nut width: 43.9 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.5 mm. Pickup DC resistance: 11.17k.
