These knobs came off of a 1955 Gibson L5 CES wiring harness. There are no knicks, scratches, marks, or missing paint. They're in excellent to mint condition, and because I can't see any marring or marks, I'm leaning toward the latter.
Added a photo comparing knobs to those on a '54 Les Paul Custom under black light.
These would be excellent for your mid-late 50s Gibson project, restoring your guitar to its original glory.
