This one is a bit of a collector’s item and it’s not a typical Stratocaster – its simple body contours give a unique feel
The predecessor of the CIMAR Ibanez brand. Made in the Japanese factory taken over by Ibanez, this is an iconic guitar – especially in the classic ivory finish, from the 1980’s
It’s showing obvious signs of wear and tear, giving an overall characterful aged appearance.
A couple of small cracks around the neck / body junction are more cosmetic than any real issue – see photos
The maple finish on the neck has been aged to a worn natural look.
A body made from solid mahogany, this guitar is heavier than a typical Stratocaster – giving it a tone and sustain all its own
A tremolo bar is included – chrome with an ivory handle – not shown in photos
Weight is a meaningful 9.65lbs – more like a Les Paul type guitar.
The rosewood fretboard has got great character and shows no real sign of wear.
This really is an awesome looking rare guitar that was a great find for me over 10 years ago
Now being sold to make space in my extensive personal collection.
I hope you get as much pleasure as I’ve had owning and most importantly playing this great instrument.
