Hofner 175 II Tele e-guitar from 1972 in aged white (Restored, Vintage, Höfner)

Once again something rare and beautiful – the highly sought-after Tele version from Höfner from 1972, in addition to the bass version, in a beautifully nitro repainted yellowed cream. Of course an unbeatable rock guitar with the two Höfner 513 Blade pickups, plus a great string position and a pleasant weight of 3.33 kg

The 175 II is from 1972! Accordingly, it has signs of wear! There are blemishes, dings and dongs, scratches and cracks on the headstock, body and parts. The pickguard is an authentic replica of mine. I also repainted the guitar in yellowed nitro white (aged white like you know it from the 70s strats). The neck pickup was  rewound by me. Pickups I have rewound are authentic. I use the same type of wire; the same tape and crepe material; the same direction of winding; same number of turns; Same assembly technique – there is no audible difference to an original. All pickups work, as well as every switch and potentiometer. Frets needed minimally dressing and a great string action was setuped. The 3-way switch is a weak point on these guitars and was subsequently repaired by me and has also become a new switch tip – I cannot guarantee that it will withstand intensive use, please switch with care

I gave the 175 II a major overhaul. The lacquer was cleaned, disinfected and polished up by me. The vibrato was completely dismantled, cleaned, prepared and re-lubricated by me. Runs nice and smooth. Mechanisms have been dismantled, cleaned, polished and re-lubricated. All electrics treated, cleaned, checked and grounded controlled. The neck adjusted for a great action. Fretboard and frets dressed, cleaned, treated, oiled and sanded. The guitar is ocatve clean and setuped and plays beautiful with the strung on Pyramid Nickel Roundwound strings

Information:
It is a vintage instrument. The condition description corresponds to this when you come to me in the shop and would take the instrument directly with you. The temperature gradient when shipping with air freight can lead to changes in the condition of the instrument. e.g. Celluloid pickguard could tear or shrink due to tension. Likewise, pickups due to the wire expansion and shrinkage could lose their function by loosening the solder points. I am very accommodating with complaints, but please note this and do not expect a new instrument.

Please look closely at the pictures and ask as many questions as possible if something is unclear. Prefer a few more questions than to have the surprise afterwards. The shipment is securely packed.
