Available for sale is a fully stock 2011 Fender Japan JM66 Jazzmaster, showcasing a rare Old Lake Placid Blue finish and a rich rosewood fretboard with a vintage-spec 7.25” radius. This guitar comes with its original tremolo arm, gig bag, tag, and warranty card.
Japanese-made Fenders are renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship, and this Jazzmaster is no exception. The fit and finish are everything you’d expect from a Japanese-built instrument, rivalling, if not matching, the quality of its USA-made counterparts.
Sourcing Japanese Jazzmasters has become increasingly difficult, even within Japan itself. Their rising popularity within the music scene, combined with top-tier Japanese craftsmanship, has made them highly collectible. This particular model was produced in limited numbers, exclusively for the Japanese market, making it a rare sight outside of its country of origin.
In terms of condition, this JM exhibits minimal play-wear and is remarkably clean overall. The exterior has just one notable chip in the paintwork (pictured), but otherwise, the guitar is in excellent shape. There’s no significant wear on the neck or fretboard. The instrument remains 100% original, unaltered, and in perfect working order. It weighs 7.73 lbs.
