Greco Thunderbird bass TB-70 1986 Vintage White

Up for sale is a vintage Greco Thunderbird in good working order. The original White finish is naturally faded nicely. It's nice cream colour! The serial# indicates that it was manufactured in February 1986. A volume pot for the bridge pickup has been replaced but otherwise original electronics. Sounds great with the original pickups.

The upper strap button has been moved to the backside of the body. The body has a few small dings and nicks on the sides, light scratches on the top and back, a common clearcoat crack at both sides of the set neck joint. The neck has a small chip and a few dings at edges of the headstock, a paint crack at the front of the headstock, a hairline paint crack on the backside, the finish on the sides of the fingerboard is peeling off in a few places as pictured, but back of the neck is very smooth overall. The bridge and tailpiece were originally black, but the plating peeled off and they now look chrome. The tuning shaft of the 4th string is slightly bent, but functions normally.

With strict eyes, the neck has slight hump but almost flat neck. It's comfortable to play with correct action (2.6mm/2.8mm@12th). The truss rod works fine at either directions. The frets are around 70% and show some wear but no deep grooves or dead-spots.

The weight of the bass is 4.52kg(9.96lbs). No case included, but will be correctly packed for shipment.
