I've had this piano for about 10 years and it's been regulaly tuned and well maintained. There are signs of wear on the outer casing (scratches and blemishes, seen in the photos) but the sound and action are unaffected. This piano also records exceptionally well and has been featured on several commercial releases (please contact me for reference recordings) - it also sounds great with felt between the strings and hammers, for that 'soft piano' sound, as heard in the attached video.

The model Z is a perfect example of why Steinway has become the worlds most famous piano makers of quality pianos. It is the smallest Steinway made in the upright range measuring only 116cm in height. The "Renner" action inside the piano is extremely responsive making the piano playing a pleasure. The bass is surprisingly powerful considering its height and the treble remains as lively as the day the piano was made.
