A very nice pair of stands which would be ideal for medium to large sized hifi speakers or midfield studio monitors (possibly larger nearfields depending on what height you need). These are just over 40cm high. The top plate measures 19cm x 19cm.
These early British-made Target stands are some of the best ever produced. They are of welded steel construction and are highly rigid, relatively light in weight and extremely strong and stable - this type of stand is much better than the pressed steel type that became popular in the 90s (i.e. Atacama) and miles ahead of anything that needs to be bolted together.
I have an almost identical set of stands in the studio - they really allow my monitors to give of their best. In my experience it's difficult to find anything as good today.
These have a few marks and scratches as well as some minor surface rust but they look smart enough in use. They will come with 8 adjustable spikes with locking nuts. No functional issues.
