The new PJD Woodford Standard is a solid bodied S type guitar featuring belly cut and arm rest contours. Fitted with PJD Dr Wallace and Wadfather pickups, the new Woodford provides a huge range of vintage modern array of tones with warmth, depth and clarity at the heart of their tone. The lightweight Obeche body of the Standard is resonant and musical, which makes long stints on stage, practicing or in the studio comfortable, while the ultra-thin finish allows the guitar to mature and develop quickly. . The plain maple neck features a silk screen decal, drilled truss rod access and tinted lacquer for a vintage inspired aesthetic. A 25.5 inch scale length provides plenty of brightness and a familiar string tension. PJD’s ultra comfortable modern medium C shape neck has a 10 inch fretboard radius and medium Jescar 55090 frets.
