Non-Reverse Fenderbird with a T40 Pickup in the Bridge!

Not sure if anyone is going to have any interest, but it's free to list so here we go.

For sale is the first Fenderbird I ever made (my version anyway).  It has some wear because I did gig with this, but it plays and sounds terrific.  Here's a list of the details:

Neck: Squier Vintage Modified 77 Jazz Bass neck (standard scale, 20 frets, maple, block inlays and bound).  Tuners are just Squier tuners, but dammit, they do a good job of staying in tune.  Why fix what isn't broken?
Body: 1997 Epiphone Non-Reverse Thunderbird, MIK.  When I got it, it was beat to heck and covered in stickers.  I stripped it to bare wood, and it is refinished in Cream by Toyota.  It's a rattlecan job, but I took my time and it looks great.  It's not as durable as I had hoped, but it only has a couple of dings.
Bridge: Gotoh 201
Bridge pickup: Vintage Peavey T40 blade-style pickup
Neck pickup: DiMarzio Model P.  Every P Bass I have ever owned had a DiMarzio in it.  Sounds like a hair metal thing, but I like DiMarzio the best of all the ones I have tried.

As I said, I have played quite a few gigs with this bass, and there are some mistakes I made (my first time with a router, ahem) but in general this is a great player.  This is not a bass for people with short arms--that low F is WAY out there.  Even though it is 34 inch scale, the body is extra long, and it plays longer than it actually is.  I never had trouble, just thought I should mention it.  Comes with a bad ass BC Rich gig bag.

Shipping is based on worst case scenario shipping to the west coast, and since it is oversized it's going to be a bear to ship.
