1985 USA Kramer Baretta. Body made of 2 piece poplar. Recessed tremolo cover plate. Customized by Paul Unkert in 1987. For those that aren't aware. Paul made the guitar you see Edward Van Halen playing in the popular Van Halen Hot For Teacher video. The owner of the NFL Colts football team purchased that guitar for 3.8 million. He definitely must be the biggest EVH fan! Paul gave this Baretta a classic Van Halen stripe job. Mounted the original MJ Seymour Duncan 16.78k directly to the body. Added early prototype Floyd Rose locking nut. Includes the original 1985 Floyd Rose tremolo system w/42mm steel sustain block. The Floyd is made in Germany includes tremolo bar. Paul made the modifications while working for BC Rich in New Jersey in his home shop. Roughly 7 guitars were customized and EVH striped by Paul during this period before Eddie kindly asked Paul to stop doing them. Paul kindly obliged. The neck is 1 3/4 wide at the nut. 14 inch radius and a very slim "D" profile. Many of the same mods that Edward liked on his custom Kramers and Charvels. Same day fully insured shipping.
