About This Listing

1980 Les Paul Firebrand with original case

A brief and known history of this instrument -

This guitar belonged to Green in the early 80's and was used to record the 'Guitar Hero" album in 1985, see attached picture of actual album cover. The album was also released under the name Kamandu ''A case for the blues"

The guitar was purchased in the mid 90's from Peter Green

He was well known for selling and giving guitars away in this period

It has been inspected by various professionals who agree that it is authentic, the Fender strap is an obvious sign of this plus signs of finger nail wear on the body, Green was known to keep long nails.

The guitar itself is in great condition with no cracks or previous repairs and comes complete with its original case.
