MARANTZ PMD 230 / CP 230 - stereo portable tape recorder
One of the best stereo portable tape recorder of all time with Sony's TC D5 and WM D6C.
2 head version of the iconic PMD430/ CP430 with Dolby Noise reduction, capable of recording and playing Chrome and Metal tapes as standard Ferro type I tapes too.
Also comes with a manual pitch control, tone adjustments, limiter and attenuator to avoid unwanted saturation during recording and playback, 2 separated stereo Line and Microphone inputs and an integrated speaker.
Can be powered with batteries or an external power supply.
Made in Japan - 1989.
Condition :
- In excellent aesthetic condition, almost like new and sold in its original leather case with brand new belts replaced.
- No sound coming in and out due to an electrical issue. Transport controls and vu-meters are both functional.
