Postage is possible, but price will reflect packaging and insurance for shipping. I’d prefer collection for obvious reasons, as the buyer will get to be completely comfortable with the purchase. Price of the shipping will also reflect location and speed, so if interested, ask for a quote to your location so a more accurate price can be given. 

On this point, if you are not looking to collect in person and have it shipped, please ask all questions, photo angles, spec details you feel you are missing before purchasing, as I want this to be as smooth and easy a sale as possible, for both buyer and seller.

Condition is Used. A beautiful and largely rare left handed Atkin OM. This is Alister’s 185th build. This was made/bought when Alister Atkin moved away from the ‘Martin’ style of headstock, opting for a more distinctive ’Atkin’ design, yet a lot of his modern designs have returned to the ‘Martin’ style headstock shape. At that time, I really wanted the early version, which he was a happy to go with. 

Cosmetically: Typical signs of age/use. See images. Owned since new, and has been ‘gigged’, so a few small marks present, making this not in mint condition, but very good for 17yrs of gigging and playing in the studio. It’s all part of the lifetime of a instrument like this anyway! There are a couple of notable points…one mentioned below re the neck, the only other is some slight discolouration to the Atkin logo and binding above it. See image. Can’t think how this happened as it is very ‘localised’ and doesn’t appear to be like ‘sun damage’. 

The hard case is in fully functional order, with some expected cosmetic marks/knocks due to age/use for what it’s supposed to be for! :) 

Functionally: Working excellently. Sounds beautiful. Plays brilliantly. The only functional point is there is a ‘knock’ to the neck (pictured from two angles) that is present to the eye and touch, but almost invisible to the palm when playing. Does not affect playability, for me at least.

Guitar has been stored in a dry, studio. The case often stored in my loft (hence some surface aging to the buckles)
