Marinucci 120 Bass Piano Accordion

Marinucci 120 Bass Piano Accordion from the late 40s/early 50s.

5 Treble Couplers and one bass coupler.

This Accordion is pretty old and in poor condition but it can still be played albeit it plays a bit insipidly. The bellows work acceptably with no sticking keys. Some of the treble key sounds however rasp. It could clearly do with, as a minimum, a tuning and ideally a complete refurbishment/restoration.

Cosmetically, it is in reasonable condition for it's age with a couple of pins missing at the front.

The treble keyboard is 17" in length and so compact and the instrument is fairly lightweight and so possibly ideal for the smaller player.

The side strap is worn but functional and the backstraps are new but white and plastic. It has no case.

It comes from the Ardnamurchan area and has been played much and often over the years at many a Scottish west coast ceilidh. It is however now, without repair and refurbishment, past it's best. Nevertheless it is, just about, still a playable instrument that could be used as an introduction to the piano accordion or as a knock about practice instrument. With the modest cost of buying the instrument (£100) and hopefully, the modest cost of repair or restoration or refurbishment, it could be revived to being, a cheerful, instrument capable of public performance once again.

Courier cost to anywhere in the UK included in price. Despite there being no case, the instrument will be packed as carefully as possible to prevent any damage.
