Semi Acoustic bass in mint condition, comes with gig bag, strap and a lead. Plays great, no fret buzz. Set up with a medium action. Its got great acoustic projection, great for practicing without plugging in. The P90 pickups have a warm classic tone. The neck has a nice flame to it that the camera doesn't really pick up very well.

Full Description

The San Francisco Semi Acoustic Bass by Gear4music is inspired by the San Francisco Sound of the 1960's and 1970's, both in looks and sound. With a stunning double cut body, with a classic Wine Red finish on a Maple body, this bass will really stand out on stage. Finished off with a trapezoid bridge, poplar laminate fretboard and chrome hardware, this bass guitar would look equally as home in the 60's as it would today.

Classic Sound and Tone

The Gear4music San Francisco is equipped with two single coil P90s, and volume and tone controls for both pickups, giving a classic sound. This versatile bass has an array of tones, with a great sustain from a 'West Coast' jangle to a a beefy growl. Using both pickups you get a full bodied rock sound, suitable for all sorts of genres. With a slim maple neck and high quality poplar laminate fretboard, this bass really is a joy to play.
