Upright Bass 3/4 Size, Hercules Stand, Hidersine Gig Bag, BassBall Mic Holder

This Upright Bass is an all laminate curved back ¾ size Bass. I bought it 2nd hand in 2018, the makers ticket had been lost at that time but through research I think it is probably of East European origin.

Prior to my buying it, it had a lot of work carried out in 2017 by Stringers of Edinburgh, including a new soundpost fitted, a new bridge fitted and a set of Evah Pirazzi strings fitted, see picture of invoice. Due to a serious illness I have been unable to play it from shortly after purchase so the strings have not had much use.

The bass comes with a Hidersine padded soft case, new cost £82, a Hercules stand, new cost £80 and a BaseBall microphone mount from Lando Music in Germany, new cost 23.40 Euros, see picture of invoice. This is a ball made from special foam which fits into the curve on the underside of the bridge, where a small microphone can be inserted to record or amplify the bass. I used it with a small Audio Technica condenser microphone and it worked very well. See picture, microphone not included in this sale.

The bass plays well, has a good tone and holds tune.
