Made in Japan in the mid 1980's, the Yamaha BBVIs was the short scale version of the BBVI. Alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4kg's. 31.5 inch scale length and a 40mm nut width give it a nice compact feel while still retaining a big sound, These BBVIs habe the same pickups as the late 70s BB1200.
