Recently serviced returned to stock circuit by Chris Newman Guitars and in full working condition. Service notes below.
- Replaced very noisy output valves- TAD 6L6GC
- Replaced leaking .1uf/600v caps (Orange drop)
- Replaced drifted phase inverter plate resistors 47k/47k as on AA1069 schematic ( later changed to 82/100k)
- Fitted 0.001uf/600v cap across opto-coupler to reduce ticking
- Replaced bias caps 100uf/100v ( were 70uf/70v) Adjusted bias -50vdc
- Removed master vol pot and fitted original 250k for intensity
- Changed mid pot from 25k back to the 10k you gave me.
- Re-wired back to original wiring.
- Re-soldered various dodgy joints
- Cleaned all valve sockets, pots and sockets
- Cleaned up chassis and cab
- Tested with 8ohm cab
