The kit features a 7-ply 100% European Maple shell, which is perfectly complimented by the modern features of the Mars family, with the proprietary SONIClear bearing edges delivering an expansive tuning range and producing a deep fundamental pitch from the bass drum and floor toms.

Additional features include insulated bass drum claws, matching wood snare drums, and bass drum-mounted tom holders equipped with the SONIClear suspension system to provide maximum sustain and projection.

The Mars Series "Studioease" Shell Pack includes a short depth rack and floor toms that can span a wide range of
