The VAD103 is the first kit in the all-new from Roland.

The Roland VAD103 is the most compact and space-saving kit in the , offering a “one-up-one-down” configuration. It includes shallow toms (x1 and x1 ), a shallow (snare stand sold separately) and the (kick pedal sold separately). With the larger diameter on the playing surface of each pad, plus a wooden shallow-shell, the VAD103 has a more “acoustic drum” feel, whilst keeping a small footprint.

The cymbal pads are Roland’s premium setup, including x1 crashes, a 3-zone and the acoustic hi-hat stand operated (hi-hat stand sold separately).

The VAD103 is powered by the . The module comes with 50 kits, 25 Preset and 25 Users. You can use the 50 kit locations to build/customise and create your own drum kits from the 143 onboard sounds.
