National Reso-Phonic Estralita Deluxe Sunburst 2016 Resonator Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have a National Reso-Phonic Estralita Deluxe resonator acoustic guitar in satin lacquer Sunburst finish. Built in the USA in 2016 this iconic resonator features a Figured Maple top, Walnut back and sides, a single cone, a bound Walnut neck, a 19 fret Rosewood fingerboard, a bone nut and vintage style machine open gear heads.

The neck plays incredibly well in its smooth semi-gloss finish, along with its soft 'V' profile giving comfortable and ergonomic thumb positioning. The body is exceptionally responsive, giving excellent dynamic control and feeling quite intimate with its fairly narrow depth (3.02"). Please note the structural condition section of the luthier report below, the guitar is in need of a neck reset due to a gap in the neck/body joint. 

The Estralita Deluxe has a full and balanced tone, with a warm low end, a powerful and projecting midrange without sounding overly brash, along with clear and articulate highs. Overall a great example of why National have been the go-to name for resonators for nearly 100 years.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Light marking visible to the top edge, other marking is difficult to notice.

Neck: Very good condition with a few light indents between frets 3-5. Please see structural notes.

Body: Light marking to the body and the metal to the front shows visible tarnishing.

Condition of Frets:

Light signs of wear, mostly noticeable within the first 6 frets.

Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & can be adjusted

Hardware Condition: Fully functional with light signs of wear

Structural Condition: The neck-to-body joint has a visible gap. The guitar will need a neck reset to aid tuning stability and improve playability.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret- Treble 3mm - Bass 3.5mm
