The Yamaha 612VIIX is a great looking guitar that features a spec to match! Powered by a HSS Seymour Duncan pickup configuration, and with that legendary Yamaha build quality, it's a "Super Strat" that'll appeal to many a guitarist.
With is iconic double cutaway alder body, the 612VIIX has classic appeal. The body is married to a maple neck that is topped with a rosewood fingerboard set with 22 medium frets.
The guitar is powered by a triple Seymour Duncan HSS pickup configuration, with a pair of single coil SL-1s in the neck and middle positions, and a pokey Custom 5 TB-14 humbucker at the bridge. Wired through a master volume, master tone (with push/pull coil split), and a 3-way switch, you have access to a wide range of tones.
Other appointments include a Wilkinson VS50 vibrato bridge, Grover locking tuners and a GraphTech TUSQ nut.
