Sylvia Acoustic 1950s Tenor Guitar USA Made Solid Woods Gibson - esque L4
This is a rather superb tenor acoustic guitar, made approximately 1950s (or earlier) in USA. Solid woods throughout, and extremely Gibson -esque feel and look about it. Rubber stamped L4 inside.
Spruce top. Mahogany back and sides.
The guitar has recently been sympathetically overhauled, set-up, and gently improved by one of my local veteran luthiers.
Playability all the way up the neck is excellent.
The 'Sylvia' brand was an absolute mystery to me, bu I've since uncovered a mention of the brand on European AND American made instruments.
