I’m super super chuffed to offer this beauty for sale. Purchased by Mark St John (Ronnie Lane Studio’s Owner) from Keith Grant himself, this machine is full of rock n’ roll history. It was inside Olympic Studio’s for many years, recording some of the most legendary records ever produced. “From Dusty Springfield to the Rolling Stones, BB King to Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie to Led Zeppelin, the Beatles to Pink Floyd, anybody who was anybody during the music industry's golden era could at some point be found laying tracks down at Olympic Studios” and this 3M machine was right there!
It’s been inside the LMS since the late 1980s too. It has been sat for some years in the corner of a storage unit, gathering dust, after the owner fell ill. It definitely requires a full restoration, but the history this comes with means this machine is well worth a restoration job!
