Eurorack Sample / Track and Hold Module

This listing is for a basic eurorack sample and hold module with the following features:

• Sample & Hold or Track & Hold functionality selectable by switch
• Adjustable internal clock (1 - 100 Hz) with rate LED, or can be fed an external clock (selectable by switch)
• Trigger, input and output sockets
• Reverse power protection
• 6hp width, 25 mm module depth
• Front panel is made from 1.6 mm FR4 (PCB material)

These modules were built by me. The circuit is based off a schematic on the DIY Modular Synthesizer Facebook group which was contributed by Ole Stavnshoej. I made a couple of minor modifications to this.

Some additional info

I often find myself needing basic utility modules but struggle to find these at low cost because most of the ones I can find come with additional functionality that I either don't need, or prefer to have in a separate module. So, for me, building my own, based on publicly available schematics is the best solution.

Due to minimum order quantities for PCBs etc I tend to have spares. These spares are the modules I offer for sale here. I enjoy building, so rather than offer the PCBs and front panels up for sale I sell built modules. I'm not in the business of producing & selling modules (this is a hobby after all) and so there likely won't be any more of these. I want to keep the cost low so I'm selling these for essentially what they cost to build plus a bit extra so that I can carry on building other modules for myself. Hopefully they'll be useful if you're looking for some cost-effective utility modules.

These utility modules are built around basic functionality with no bells and whistles as I prefer utility modules in my rack to do a simple job without a cramped layout. So you'll definitely be able to find more fully featured Sample/Hold modules out there that take up less rack space if thats what you are looking for. But if you want a simple, single function module then this will definitely fit the bill.

The modules have all been tested in my system to check they work as they should. The power pin header has 2 red pins to help you with orienting the power cable (red stripe on cable matches to red pins on power header). Reverse power protection is built in to the circuit.
