A Vintage mid 1970's CMI (Cleartone Musical Instruments) doublecut Melody Maker/Junior copy in a very lovely black burst finish. In good working order, nice straight neck with low action. Polished frets and oiled fret board with new strings. There are a few knocks, dings and scratches commensurate with the age of this instrument, but it's a lovely example of a 70s doublecut Jr at a fraction of the cost. In 1965, to raise money for expansion, Jim Marshall went into a 15 year franchise deal with Rose Morris. This restricted who he could sell to so to get around this in 1975 he formed Cleartone Musical Instruments, which was run by his son Terry. Terry imported a range of guitars to complement the Marshall amps from Japan, and this is one of them.
