About This Listing

Looking like it's been lying undiscovered in a damp barn since the 1930s this brass bodied tricone resonator is distinguished by it's relic 'rat rod' finish. The wide mahogany neck (48mm at the nut) has a bound rosewood fretboard with 12 frets to the body, a  vintage style slotted headstock fitted with 1930s  style tuning machines.

As with all our resonator models, the  guitar is carefully set up in our workshop and fitted with 16-56 gauge phosphor bronze resonator strings. The action is set at 3mm (+/- 0.25mm) at the 12th  fret, comfortable for both slide and finger picking playing.
