About This Listing

WorldMax DSS Floor Tom Suspension Mount, 16" 8-Lug Drum

Optimise your floor tom. The WorldMax DSS Floor Tom Suspension Mount includes a mounting plate, floor tom legs and rubber grommets. The universal mounting plate will accept any tom mounting bracket, which you can mount to any 16", 8-lug floor tom.

Why use a Floor Tom Suspension Mount? The WorldMax DSS does not attach to the drum shell itself, therefore minimising intrusive contact to maximise natural resonance and sustain. The mount goes in between the lug and the hoop, allowing the tension rods to pass through a rubber grommet at four points on the shell. This prevents any metal on metal contact, allowing your drum to vibrate freely and eliminate any unwanted sounds from your mix.
