Epiphone FT-75 Seventy Five 1944 Sunburst Jumbo Flat-Top

This is a very cool, and wonderful sounding, Epiphone FT-75 that was made in New York in 1944. This is a very rare model with a full sized body. Originally this guitar was outfitted with a trapeze tailpiece although the bridge is original. To convert it, a bridge plate was added inside the guitar, and the three holes where the tailpiece was mounted have been filled and touched up. There is a repaired back crack along the center seam. The guitar shows some play but given its age it is in very good overall condition. Some of the binding on the side of the neck has been replaced and overall the binding shows age and cracking and shrinking, see pics. The neck has been reset and some of the binding has been repaired and replaced in some sections. This is a great sounding guitar that is a joy to play. It comes with the original case in the pictures.
