Hand-modified Blackstar Fly 3 Watt guitar amplifier combo with added Tremolo

This amp has been hand-modified in the UK by Midboost to add a new optical Tremolo feature.

This modded amp is unique to Midboost and is not available from any other seller.

Midboost modifications

• Added mini-knob for built-in Tremolo which both engages the effect and adjusts the speed.
  • The tremolo is optical (like many classic guitar amps use).
  • Speed ranges from less than one cycle per second cycle to around 5 cycles per second - please watch the video for examples.
• Orange power LED replaces stock red LED for a more "vintage" look

The amp also retains all its original factory features (Delay, Overdrive channel etc).

Stock Blackstar features
The Blackstar Fly 3 is probably the best and loudest guitar practice combo amp in its class!
It's also a great headphone practice amp (headphones - not included in sale - disable the in-built speaker).
And if you prefer analogue its that too (no DSPs anywhere inside). No valves (tubes) either, its all solid-state.

• 2 channels: clean (unusually good at volume for an amp of this class) and dirty (gain channel ranging from mild crunch to classic overdrive).
  • If desired, either channel can be pushed harder with a boost pedal or hot pickups.
  • Note only one channel can be used at a time (there is only one instrument input jack). Channel selection is by a push switch.
• ISR tone control - Blackstar's patented EQ ranging from "US" to "UK" amp tone.
• In-built delay emulating analog tape style (darker repeats), with delay "Time" and "Level" controls.
• External 3.5mm stereo line-level input for backing track, from phone, tablet etc. (note there's no input mix level on this channel).
  • 3.5mm headphone / line-level emulated speaker output.
• Blackstar extension speaker (not included) can be connected via custom jack at rear, giving 6W total output.
• Amp runs off 6x AA batteries (not included) or a DC PSU (not included), input at rear.

Important notes

• This amp is refurbished (please see photos for condition)
• The Tremolo is always Mono even when a FLY-103 extension cab is plugged in
• Tremolo cannot be applied to the External Line (MP3) input on the top panel.
