The violin, bows, and all the accessories are in perfect condition. Tim Batchelar, a highly respected luthier. has these made and sets them up himself before sale.
The violin has a good tone across all the strings and plays well with both the bows. The darker one is of better quality and is really well balanced. The shoulder rest is by Everest and is comfortable and adjustable.
I'm a cello and bass peri and I only used the violin for a couple of terms when I stood in for another teacher; an interesting experience, but back to lower strings now.
The shipping charge includes insurance, but would be reimbursed in cash if you collect in person, as i haven't discovered how to remove it yet when the instrument is sold.
