Hans -Hoeyeuer's 3rd ascending semi -double horn with the genealogy of Col in France
[overview] Hans Heuer, semi -double French horn. 3rd rise system. Geshtop 5 rotary with key. Large throat gold brassbell. Bell cut. Lacquer paint finish. Rotary ball joint action. One -piece bell 甩 Includes old hard case. 1970s manufactured.
[situation] F pipe and B ♭ tube of each tuning tube are cut about 15 mm. The inner tip is a type with an oil -fastened expansion, but the expansion part is shorter due to the cutting edge cut, and it is slightly loose. By using heavy type grease, you can ensure that it does not hinder the performance, but please be aware that it is not perfect. (Currently handed over) The dents are scattered in the bell, bellflare, and back tube. Lacquer painting was applied later, not at the time of manufacture, but the lacquer peeling is progressing considerably. Each place has been maintained and inspected.
[Characteristics / charm] It is a semi -double horn with 3rd rotary rising tube, which was commonly used in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, including France until the 1960s. (When the 3rd rotary is pressed, the detour tube is cut and one sound is higher.
Originally, it was a piston -type col (COR) instrument that was originally produced by Selmer, Lublanc, and Courtois, but the number of rearrangements in rotary horns is a small number, but even with Alexander and Schmidt, etc. It is manufactured as a special order. This Hans seems to be a order made in the same way. You will master French finger, but why not think about the old days of French sounds, including them?
