About This Listing

Valencia Classical Guitar 1/2 Size - Antique Natural Finish

The Series 200 starts with a sitka spruce top, nato body and jabon neck for balanced tone. A distinctive, see-through satin finish reveals the inherent beauty of our tonewoods. An ebonized mahogany fingerboard and mahogany bridge completes the elegant look.

The 1/2 size body size and scale length is ideal for most children aged 7-9. Having a comfortable size as well as an easy playing instrument like the classicals with softer nylon strings is very important for ensuring that your child's first experiences with guitar are positive. Nylon string instruments are also ideal for their warm tone, and forgiving intonation when compared to their steel string junior sized counterparts, and on average have fewer set-up or durability issues overall.
