The JMV-R2 model in stock this time is one that JM type enthusiasts have been secretly eyeing!
A standard specification with an alder body and rosewood fingerboard. But naturally, its perfection clearly sets it apart from other makers.
A control called the Hornet switch is mounted in the position where the preset switch is mounted on the original, and it calls up the series wiring and outputs a pseudo humbucker sound.
It has been improved for greater practicality and ease of use.
The main conductor neck is made of hard maple, and is very strong and has a very low tendency to deviate from its original rod.
The neck is not only resistant to deviation and can be used for a long time, but it also prevents string vibrations from escaping, resulting in rich overtones and sustain.
It also provides the best effect in terms of sound.

The fingerboard is made of slab-applied Madagascar rosewood, which is well-known among high-end Japanese manufacturers.
Acoustically, it is very similar to the rare "Hakaranda" wood, and is slightly harder than regular Indian rosewood.
It is a wood with such a good sound.
It produces a superb tone with good response and a sticky mid-range that is typical of Rosewood.
The fingerboard radius is 210R, which is a little flatter than vintage fretboards, so there is no loss of sound when chalking and smooth playing is possible.

Nitrocellulose lacquer finish is so thin that even the slightest impact can scratch the surface. It also has the feel of a vintage guitar.
The ultra-thin finish makes the most of the sound of the wood, and the overwhelming response, especially in clean to drive tones, is not something that can be imitated.
The neck is also finished with a lacquer finish, so it feels smooth and smooth as if you are directly touching the wood.
Speedy and stress-free playing is guaranteed.

The sound is overwhelming and superb, and you can feel it just by playing a single chord.
The 100% handmade, hand-wired HORNET pickups produce a thicker, more sparkling sound.
The nuance of the jangly original JM is retained, but the number of coil turns has been increased to improve the resolution of the sound.
The sound is fat, thick, and well-balanced over the entire bandwidth, and yet it has a sense of separation and brilliance that makes it one of the finest.
If you are considering the JM type, you will surely end up with this model.

There is no compromise on the looks either, and the original clay dot inlays give it an outstanding atmosphere.
This model comes in the standard 3-Tone Sunburst color. However, the color is slightly different from the "3-Tone Sunburst" in the regular lineup.
This model is painted with "63 3-Tone Sunburst," a color with a darker yellowish tone in the center, which is seen in the original F models from about 1963 onward.
The contrast between the three colors is beautiful, and the coloring has a great presence!
The neck of this guitar has a very good quality.
There is a little wood grain, but it is not so much the beauty of the grain as the fact that it is made of a strong and solid maple, which can be seen at a glance.
The weight is also light for a JM type, so it is a good and secure piece.
