Baritone - King Musical Instruments (model #468465, manufactured 1970-1975), close to mint condition

This is a “King Musical Instruments” Baritone with an upright forward-facing bell configuration. According to their website, this model #468465 was manufactured in 1970-1975. It is in near mint condition, with a slight dent on the back of the bell (it can’t be seen when performing).

I acquired this in 2015 from my late band teacher, after he passed away. At the time, it was still in the original plastic packaging from the manufacturer. Also, I added some super-fast springs, too. The original springs are included, as well.

This is a very nice Baritone that comes with a clear plastic mouthpiece.

Also included is the “Protec” backpack-style gig-bag - perfect for carrying to practice and performances.

And, a marching lyre (originally came with the Baritone when new).

Included, are the original paperwork for both the King Musical Instruments Baritone (upright, forward-facing bell) and the Protec papers that came with it as new.

I highly recommend this special instrument. Perfect for your next TubaChristmas day out. ;0)
