EMT930st turntable with EMT929 tonearm, Pickering cart, dual cartridge carrier clip (rare) and EMT948 style RIAA phono pre in full working order and excellent condition. This is a fine example of these increasingly rare idler wheel tables.
This 930st was in service at an African non-profit radio station until being decommissioned a few years ago. It was serviced in Dec 2020 by Dewald Visser of Dew Audio and the work carried out was as follows:
Motor capacitors replaced,
Motor bushings cleaned and lubed with Spruhohl,
New thrust ball in the main bearing,
RIAA amplifier cards capacitors revised as well as the psu cards,
New idler wheel from the US fitted,
General lubrication applied on the various moving parts,
Main bearings cleaned out and oiled with Spruhohl,
Overall chassis cleaned from top to bottom.
The turntable comes with a custom built shipping crate. Shipping/insurance organised and paid for by buyer. More pics available upon request.
