The 1986 RD-1000 was the most advanced digital piano of the time, built around Roland’s advanced SA (Structured Adaptive) technology for a more authentic piano sound. Just a year later, this pro-focused technology was also available in Roland’s home pianos, so you could enjoy the same piano sound used by the world-famous artists who made the music you grew up with. It’s a tradition that continues to this day with Roland’s current RD stage pianos.

I purchased this keyboard about 15 years ago. It sounds great with lots of flexibility. With the storage cartridges, you can save settings for fast recall of the voicing and sounds you prefer.

The good news is that the road case is very durable with casters and handles. The bad news is that it’s really heavy in the road case. 

If you live in the Nashville area, you would be welcome to come by and pick it up. It will probably need to ship via common carrier / freight / truck line. I’m sure UPS, FedEx, etc. won’t touch it. I guessed at the shipping cost so it'll be what it'll be.
