Doug developed the super percussive fretless bass, two brass "slap plates" are let into the fretboard to accentuate fretless slap styles of the 1980s. It really works; this bass is lovely to play. A well crafted fretless. Doug strung it with rounds however I shall include a set of elites flats in the case. I also have a note from Doug saying "its a good bass this!!".

This one is of Honduras mahogany body (wow - not seen that for a long time) with a wonderful metallic lustre orange finish. In great condition. Hard Rock maple neck and a wonderful ebony board.

Piezo under neck heel can be blended in with the Kent Armstrong Humbucker, 2 band preamp and toggle switch for pups. Schaeller hardware.

This one went back to Doug at his Stoke workshop early 2020 where a full service was undertaken. Given lockdowns its stayed in its case since. Doug also replaced the side dot markers with new Luminlay dots. Ill include a charger torch in the case.
