As one of the great Jerez Flamenco guitarists and accompanists Juan Manuel Moneo Carrasco commented on Jorge de Zofia creations; Tengo la gran suerte después de más de veinte años de búsqueda de haber encontrado a mi compañera de trabajo, mi guitarra definitiva.. y podré tener y cambiar más guitarras por que es mi pasión.. pero esta muere conmigo... agradecido eternamente a Jorge De Zofia por crear esta maravilla...I have the great luck after more than twenty years of searching to have found my coworker, my ultimate guitar.. and I can have and change more guitars because it is my passion.. but this dies with me... grateful eternally to for creating this wonder… After paying this guitar his reaction was ... suena increíble.
This guitar is just that incredible, I truly believe it is the best guitar Jorge has made. Light (less than a kilo) and responsive with a fabulous tone. It was produced during the lockdown, Jorge used the finest woods from his stock, he had time to craft it to his very highest standards, made from beautifully figured Lawson Cypress back and sides and the highest grade of fine and close grained German Spruce top.
It was intended to be his Taller guitar, the epitome of his craft. Aside from established flamenca professional guitarists, such as Antonio Rey, a new generation of young professionals such as the highly acclaimed and award winning Jerez-born Manuel Heredia turn to Jorge guitars. Jorge always claimed I stole this guitar from him and would not release it until Manuel Heredia had a chance to play it, he sent me the video of playing a Siguiriyas just before he shipped to me, lucky I had paid in full before hand.
