Rickenbacker 4001 1978 Reverse Tuxedo - Players Bass. Price Lowered

If you're here, you probably already know the score on how good these basses are. 

This one in particular has been very heavily used and gigged by the previous owner (I've only ever used it for studio work) and has the bruises to show for it. If you're looking for a flawless, pristine finish you should probably look elsewhere - this thing is a bit of a road dog. Checks and cracks in the paint everywhere, though none affect playability / construction. The crack near the neck pocket is just the paint - its all structurally sound. All original except for the strap locks.

Comes with original hard case which is pretty beat up but still works

Professionally set up and plays great and more importantly sounds amazing. Really sad to see this go but bills have gotta get paid. Really hope it goes to a good home where it gets many more decades of loving abuse
