We are selling this super rare E-mu Proteus/2 Orchestral sound module features the orchestral section of the excellent Emulator sound library in a simple to operate and easy to access rack mount format with six independent outputs.
You probably already know these sounds, since they've been featured in so much pop, rock and commercial music! This unit is in near mint condition and is in perfect working condition. It includes the power cable and will be carefully packed and shipped to you quickly.
The Proteus 2 Orchestral was released in 1990 and it was a huge success for the company. It’s a legendary one-space module dedicated to orchestral sound. Also famously used by Mark Snow for the whistle patch in the X-Files theme.
The Proteus 2 offers professional features such as full 16-part MIDI multitimbrality, 32-voice polyphony, 16-bit ROM samples, six individual polyphonic outputs and extensive editing and modulation capabilities.
This gem has been used by artists like Astral Projection, Pet Shop Boys, Vangelis, Genesis, and Information Society.
