Arbiter SG bass. - made in Japan during the sixties or early seventies and imported to the UK under the brandname of Arbiter. The Arbiter guitars and basses are sometimes available in the UK, but even there, they are becoming quite rare.
This SG bass is in a very good condition and totally original. Finished in dark red and with black edging it looks good too.There are two black pickups each with a two-way pickup selector switch and there are two volume controls and one tone. The bridge and tailpiece are all adjustable and still with the chrome cover over the tailpiece.
The maple neck is beautiful and bolted on,and the headstock shows the "Arbiter" logo, the chrome covered tuners and string retainer.
There are a few small marks on the body only but this is a lovely bass - very useable with its 30 inch scale, and collectable.
