About This Listing

You are looking at a 1979 or so Kramer DMZ 4000 bass.. This bass comes with a half fretted and half fretless metal neck (fretted up to the 10th fret) with black painted wood inserts on the back. It originally had an active EQ and coil tap switches on it.. I'm not sure if the EQ is working right, and I had problems with it and the coil tap switch cutting in and out on me, so I disconnected both of them. The wiring for them is still inside the bass control cavity. So now it's just a volume, and tone controls. The Dimarzio P-Bass pickup sounds great. The action is low to medium but could be brought down lower. I have moved the upper horn strap button (it was pointing down at the neck originally) so there is an extra hole there. I have added three photos of this hole.. the first two are as it looks to my eye the last with the flash shows it off more.

There is no case with this bass.

The shipping price is for the US only, but I will also ship world wide. Send me a message and I will figure out the exact shipping and insurance price for you before we settle on a deal.

Check out the bass in action in the video below..

Thanks for looking,
Jeff
