Yamaha Broad Bass VI

Yamaha were gaining some real traction in the musical instrument market in the eighties, with the help from some stellar electric guitars and the BB Bass series. The Broad Bass (shortened by BB) was a no nonsense take on the hugely popular P Bass, only with superior quality hardware and electronics.

The unique body shape enabled the BB to be more lightweight that it's American counterpart tipping the scales at 4.3kgs. This doesn't effect the tone however, this Yamaha has bags of sustain and tone, mainly thanks to the superb Yamaha hum-cancelling pickup.

The Broad Bass VI was sold exclusively in Japan and very rarely come up for sale in the UK, here's an opportunity to own a real gem of a bass that you're very unlikely to see again.

Spec:
  • Alder body
  • 21 fret maple neck with rosewood fretboard
  • Comfortable C-profle, the neck sits somewhere between a Jazz and Precision Bass
  • Rock solid Yamaha Tuners
  • Gorgeous and stable Yamaha BB bridge with decorative engraving
