END OF THE YEAR BLOWOUT// SUPER RARE VINTAGE EARLY 70’s (1971/1972/1973/1974) Fender Musicmaster Bass

This music master bass is as good, cool and vintage as they come. It’s had some mod work done to it, but all in the 70s with original parts done by the incredible craftsman in the 70’s, this thing is all 70’s mojo. It’s in incredible shape for its age and sounds/plays absolutely amazingly. It was owned by the touring manager for the ventures and was likely used as a touring instrument for them. This thing has story and vibe and will be an excellent addition to your collection! There’s no other bass like this out there. I’ll try and find a case or bag to ship it in but no original case. Enjoy! One quirk about the mods they did in the 60’s, the tone knob doesn’t work at all, but it doesn’t change the sound of the instrument at all and I’m sure you could wire something in if you’d like. In true Leo Fender fashion, the neck plate was reused from a 60’s bass (hence the serial number).
Has one dead feet (last pic) and could use a setup for some of the slight fret buzz from its age. Audible rattle in the tuners, doesn’t effect playability, tone or when the instrument is plugged in, just when it’s unplugged
