We just received this Van Laar trumpet as a trade in towards an Adams! It's the B1 model in gold plate. Condition is very good and of course it's a beautiful playing trumpet! The gold plate adds a little extra warmth to the sound and protects the instrument and the finish. More pics and video coming soon but here's what Van Laar says about it:
B1The B1 has a lightweight bell and lightweight valve cluster. The sound is compact, with good projection and a bright sound with a fine sizzle in the high register. With its light response and great flexibility, one might call the B1 the “gem” of our collection.

- Lightweight valve casing
- One-piece hand-hammered bell
- Bell material: yellow brass
