We are selling our MCI JH636 console that we bought 2 years ago. Initially we had plans to do it up and got about half way through and just don’t realistically have any time to finish it. Plus our tech has moved away and we desperately need the space. We have re-capped about 12 channels, plus the master section and we’ve got it up and running without automation using a Sony powersupply although we do still have the original if you want it. We’ve recovered the front arm rest with leather and we’ve cleaned every fader. It will power up and we have 8 channels working, the eq sounds soooo sweet! Realistically this has to be bought by someone who understands that this is either a do-er upper project or someone who just wants to pillage the parts. There are loads of spares including several power supplies (5 in total) and you only need one working unless you want to use the automation. I’m told this is a rare frame because the design of these consoles was to be transformer less however this frame has a big fat transformer on every single channel. I know for a fact (because we own another) that with some love this thing will be incredible. If it helps we can get our tech to do a handover so it’s clear to the buyer what stage we got to and what will need to be done from here.
