This vintage Music Man bridge and serialized neck plate were professionally removed from a 1977 Music Man Stingray bass. This bridge and neck plate are Used but in Very Good to Excellent Condition (especially when you consider the age): just scratches/scuffs from normal use and age. The bridge plate, saddles, screws, springs and serialized neckplate are all original. The mute assembly and mounting bolts are new replacements. Fully tested, no stripped screws, working perfectly. This listing is for the bridge, mute assembly, mounting bolts and neck plate only (no other accessories are included).
Designed by Leo Fender in 1976, the Music Man Stingray bass has become one of the most popular basses in the world. It has been used in studio and on stage by bass icons like Louis Johnson, Flea, Cliff Williams (ACDC), Pino Palladino and John Deacon (Queen).
This bridge and neck plate are drop-in replacements for 1976 - 1978 vintage pre-Ernie Ball, three-bolt Music Man Stingray basses ONLY. This bridge will not work on post 1978 basses as the strings through holes were moved after 1978. You can find much more info on vintage Music Man basses here:
